Cream of Wheat Pancakes or Waffles (WW Core)
Filling and full of good fiber, these breakfast treats will hold you through the morning. Try them with sugarfree maple syrup or cinnamon splenda mix. Sugarfree jam or perserves with a sprinkle of powdered sugar make this breakfast positively decadent!
1 Cup Cream of Wheat (2.5 minute kind)
1 Egg
3/4 cup skim milk
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup splenda - or less to taste
Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes.
Drop pancakes by tablespoons into a hot pan greased with cooking spray. Alternatively, you can make waffles using a regular waffle iron. Be sure to spray well with cooking spray here too.
6 pancakes are about 2 points each.
4 waffles are about 4 points each
